Halo CTF is a side-scrolling capture-the-flasg parrody of the Capture the Flag mode in Halo’s multi-player mode. Although it has no multi-player mode, it is excedingly fun to play and with the changeable win settings.
The only downsides are that the gun on the warthog cannot hit any of the enemy troops and that getting out of the warthog is not as easy as getting in and getting in doesn’t always work.
This game, although fun, has quite a few glitches even a year and 8 months after production. I’ll give it 3/5 and I’m waiting for Halo CTF 2.

I am a video-game addict, and games like “David vs. Goliath” are my drug.
David Vs. Goliath is an interesting take on the Biblical story of David and Goliath. Only this time, you play as David. And instead of five smooth stones, you have weapons like grenades and rocket launchers. And Goliath is a 30-foot tall robot, with thousands of minions at his command. Overall, it’s an addicting game, with lots of features and tons of cool things to discover.
For the past couple of weeks, every time I thought about writing this review, I played the game first. I told myself I was looking for the perfect screenshots.
What I was really looking for, was the last few pieces of the ninja-suit. Buy all eight pieces, and you unlock the super-secret NINJA MODE.
Well, I finally got those pieces, and now that I’ve satisfied my curiosity about what exactly NINJA MODE is, I can sit down and write this review.
THE GAME:
“David vs. Goliath” is a free, one-player game you can download from www.zango.com However, it is only free because you have to install adware from Zango if you want to play the game.
Very. Annoying. Adware.
It doesn’t interrupt your game any, but after installing, it makes web-surfing a pain, since it loads these huge pop-up ads, most of which have music, which is really irritating when you’re trying to watch videos on YouTube.
Fortunately, it’s really easy to disable. CTRL-ALT-DEL and in Windows Task Manager, close out zango.exe You will have to do this every time you start up your computer, and every time you close out of “David vs Goliath” (hereafter to be called DvG. Why? Because I’m lazy… And I want to finish this review so I can play DvG some more!)
DvG is a third-person shooter. You start out as David, a little guy armed with just a slingshot. As you progress through the 30 levels of the game, you can pick up and learn to use many different kinds of weapons, including grenades, a Gatling gun, a rocket launcher, and a chicken that sits on your shoulder and shoots egg-bombs at your enemies.
And there are tons of enemies. Goliath’s men, among them archers, ninjas, and robo-suit clad warriors, all are trying to destroy you and keep you from going up against their boss.
You will fight Goliath several times in the progress of the game, and each time it gets harder and harder to defeat him. But when you do, the game isn’t over yet! Beating the game once on any level of difficulty unlocks INSANE MODE. (Which is, as the name suggest, insanely difficult) Collecting all the Ninja-suit pieces from Milligan the Merchant unlocks Ninja-Mode, in which David has a ninja-suit, he’s faster and easier to control, and has what the game calls “cooler weapons”.
But as a Ninja, you can only carry one kind of weapon at a time (compared to regular mode, in which you can have two different ones, one a gun-type and the other a missle-type.) I liked the old mode better.
It’s worth taking a look at, but don’t waste all your time trying to get those pieces.
Instead, waste your time trying to fight Goliath, collect chickens and other critters to save up for bunny amulets (which enable you to continue from where you were when you died, instead of having to start again from the last checkpoint) and figure out who that helpful ninja is, and if he knows what happened to the Professor’s daughter.
I give this game a 4/5. The only thing keeping it from 5/5 is the adware. The game itself is excellent!

Boxhead: More Rooms is the sequel to Boxhead: The Rooms and is bursting with zombie-killing goodness. This is one sequal that lives up to the expectations of is forebearer.
The core element of the game hasn’t been changes, shoot zombies, get weapons, kill more zombies with new weapons, but now, you have the beast, an incarnation of the devil, to worry about.
He has the ablitily to fore fireballs at you, but don’t worry too much, now you have health, so you can last longer. Finally, there are more rooms for you to choose from, so now more carnage!
I’ll give this game 5/5 for it’s addicitve gameplay, brilliant ideas and following the line set by it’s predecessor.
